Can you believe there are only 4 days left until Christmas, this month has just flown by so quickly, maybe too quick! For the last month or two, I have been getting into the festive spirit with some festive songs. Listening and singing along just puts me in such a great mood!
I thought I would share my favourite songs in my playlist to carry us on through the last few days, not to mention the big day! Put a Xmas playlist on and stuff your face with all the food you can!!

Power Of Love - Gabrielle Aplin
I have to start with this song, I am such a big supporter of her music and have been for a long time so when she got the John Lewis gig I couldn't have been happier for her. 4 years later and the song still gives me major feels!!!

Mistletoe - Justin Bieber
You gotta have some JB in your Christmas playlist, especially Mistletoe!! It is just such a fun festive tune,  and puts me in such a good mood! Also who else could bring out a Xmas song and have the word 'Shawty' in it?? Only JB ahaha

8 Days Of Christmas - Destiny Child
If you haven't listened to this, do it now, it is not your typical tune however it is so catchy!!
It takes the 12 Days and puts a modern twist on it, basically every girly girl's wish list at Christmas!!

Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid
I actually can't choose which one I like the best out of the three of them, the first one is such a classic, but I love Dizzee Rascal rap in the middle of Band Aid 20, plus that is the one I was brought up listening to! However, Band Aid 30 have my babes One Direction and Ed Sheeran in it, so I am on the fence!! These songs have to be on your playlist!!

All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
I don't know how many times I sing this round my house, ALOT!! I may not sing it the best, in fact, I am the worst but I still belt it out. It is such an iconic song that you have to try and hit that hight note. I actually love Justin Bieber's duet with Mariah Carey, such a great tune!!

Last Christmas - Wham
Moving on to some proper classics now, and the first has to Last Wham! Again this is such a great song to belt out, in the car or in the shower. It is also a great song to sing with someone, everyone knows they lyrics and we all some hand/action going on at the chorus!!

White Christmas - Bing Crosbyo or The Drifters
I am taking it way back to White Christmas with Bing Crosby! Such a classic song, I actually only watched White Christmas last year and I loved it!! My  Mum had the record when she was younger, so we have a copy of this song that crackles just like the old records do!! I also love The Drifters versions of this song, it features on The Santa Clause at the start when he burns the turkey. The song just gives me major throwback feels!!!

Merry Christmas Everybody - Slade
Again this is such a classic Christmas, it is such a feel good song and it just makes you want to get up and dance!! This reminds me so much of primary school dances for some reason and when the lights get put on where I live!! Can't beat a bit of Slade!

I Wish It Could be Christmas Everyday - Wizzard
This is my ultimate Christmas song, it is by far my favourites! I think it's because I used to sing it all the time when I was younger ( and maybe now ;)) and it sums up how I feel about Christmas!! I really do wish it was Christmas every day!!1 Just like the rest you can dance and sing and everyone knows the words!! I am listening to it just now and it is making me excited!!!

And of course you CANNOT have a Christmas Playlist without Michael Bublé, his whole album has to be there. I actually start listening to him in November as, like I have mentioned before his voice is calming and beautiful! Like him ;) The album is one of my favourite albums ever but  My favourite songs have to be 'Christmas' 'Santa Clause is Coming to Town' or 'Cold December Night'.

Let me know what is on your Christmas Playlist?? I know I have missed a few but I could be writing all day!
Have a festive day!!

I don't know about you, but one of my favourite things to do to get me in the Christmas spirit is to watch my favourite Christmas movies!! Getting all cosy, with fairy light (obvs) and a nice cup of something warm is my idea of a perfect day!!
With the big day only one week away I thought I would share my favourite Christmas films, that have been getting me right into the festive mood!

The Santa Clause Movies
This for some reason is the first set of movies I watch at Christmas, it just gives me the Christmas buzz. Although there are three films I think the first one will always be my favourite, it just a feel good movie!! This movie always made me want to go to the North Pole ahah

Elf
You can't go a Christmas without watching Elf, this movie is so funny and again such a feel good film. Not to mention it is set in New York and if you have seen my posts, you will know that I fell in love with NY! The movie wouldn't be the movie without the fab Will Ferell, he is hilarious and gives us all the perfect quotes to use at Christmas, my fav 'Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins'!

Disney's A Christmas Carol
Now this story is a complete winner at Christmas, there are so many adaptations of this movie, however, Disney's A Christmas Carol is one of my favourite, it stars Jim Carrey and is an animation. This by far had to make it on my list, the animated is incredible, I remember seeing it when it was in the cinemas, in 3D,  and thinking how magical the snow looked as it fell.Although I never understand the horse and cart section of the movie lol

Scrooge
My second favourite has to be Albert Finney's Scrooge, this is actually my parents favourite so I have been brought up watching it! I think we could sit and resight the whole movie, as well as all the songs! I just love the storyline, it just warms my heart!!

The Grinch
Watching this puts me in such a good mood, it reminds me so much of when I was little so it just makes me happy! Jim Carrey is just brilliant, the Grinch wouldn't be the same without him!
I am currently watching it just now, my mum and I are resisting the whole film, laughing away! I just love it!!

Arthur Christmas
This is a new favourite and if you have read any of my Xmas posts you will know that I was obsessed with this movie last year! I watched it so many times and never got bored of it! This year is no difference, again it is such a feel good movie! Arthur is such a cute character, you just want to give him a hug!
I think I need to watch it again, I haven't seen it in a few weeks! ;)

Polar Express
This has to be up there with my favourite films, purely because my family and I watch it every year on Christmas Eve! It has become a family tradition now,  we have watched it for about 8 years now! The movie is sad and happy and joyful and everything you need in a Christmas film!  I love the animations and the songs are fab! *burst into 'HOT HOT HOT CHOCOLATE'*

I think I  need to cram these 7 films into the next 7 days, which I think is plausible with my christmas mood aha!! Let me know what you like you watch??
Have a great day!

You can't beat a good old Christmas jumper at this time of year, it is super cold and what other excuses can you give to wear a  light up jumper? I am right!! I have bought a new one every year for the past few years so I thought I would show you my collection.
Not to mention on Friday 16th December it is Christmas Jumper day to raise money for Save The Children, I hope I can give you some inspiration for this year!

Fairisle All The Way......
You can't go wrong with a bit of Fairisle at Christmas, I just find it so simple, yet so festive. You could get away with wearing this every day and not get judged for being too festive ;) I bought this way back in 2012 in Primark and I have worn it every year!!

Let's Light up the day...
From one extreme to the other, let's go full on Christmas!! Like I said you can't wear a light up jumper any other time of the year, I mean you could but you may get judged lol. I picked this up last year at Matalan and  I  honestly felt like a walking Christmas tree,  I love it!! If you wanna go all out invest in a light up jumper, trust me it will 'brighten' up your day ;)

Ho Ho Ho....
Having a Santa on a jumper is a must, what is more christmassy than Santa? I mean that is what Christmas is all about right?? ahah kidding! I bought this in Primark a few years ago, and it has been an essential in my Christmas jumper collection. You have to have a Santa jumper!

Sleigh My Name, Sleigh My Name....
The last jumper is my newest addition to the collection, I bought this off ASOS but it is from Boohoo and I just love it. When I saw I had to buy it, I love the song 'Say My Name' so it is obviously a play on words!! It is so clever and very simple. On the plus, I get to sing the song every time someone looks at my jumper aha (The jumper is now sold out)

Move over Taylor, it's the Santa Squad..
Last but not least, I bought this adorable tee from ASOS, in the run up to Christmas my work will have dressed days and it will get super hot in a jumper so a nice t-shirt is just perfect!!
I know this is all about the jumper but  I love the slogan, it reminds me of when my sister and I pretended to be an elves when we were younger!!! Major throwback!!

I have been wearing all off these in rotation the last few weeks and it just puts my in such a good mood, you can't beat wearing something Christmassy!!
We haven't got long now, so exciting!!
Let me know where your Xmas jumpers/tees are from??

Personally, I find Lush Christmas the best season for Lush products, maybe it's the scents or the cute decorations, either way,  I knew I had to get my mitts on some of their products!
So I have seen so many Lush Hauls going about, that I thought I would change it to my favourite Christmas products that I bought! I narrowed it down to five that I think you will love.

Mistletoe
I picked this up 1. For the name, as you can't get any more Christmassier than Mistletoe, (and yes Christmassier is a word lol) and 2. For the colour, it is just so pretty! I hadn't tried this before so it was the first one I actually popped in the bath! It gave a great purple/pink colour in the bath with a floral but wintery scent!! Perfect for this time of year.

Father Christmas
I am so excited that they brought this fella back this year, he is one of favs by far! The bath bomb itself is just so adorable, however, the scent just wins it for me!! It is the bomb version of Snow Fairy, which is my all time favourite scent from Lush. When you pop this in the bath it actually turns a vivid green colour which always surprises me as I think it should be red lol! If you love sweet scents, you'll love this!

Luxury Lush Pud
This bath bomb is perfect to use just before you go to sleep, it contains lavender oil and benzoin resinoid which is soothing and calming for a relaxing bath. This also makes thee best bath, it is so multicoloured, it feels like you are bathing in a rainbow!! I may have to go shopping for another ;)

Peeping Santa
Again, I just love how cute this is, I mean look at it!! It has a lovely sweet Strawberry scent, not too fruity but,  just right if you love sweet scents! This bubble bar can last a long time as you can just crumble little bits and pop them in the water, depending on how bubbly you want your bath to be! Just the look of it makes it a must-have at Christmas!!

Candy Mountain
Lastly, my holy grail, if I could re-stock this all year round I would. It is the bubble bar version of Snow Fairy and like you know that is my fav!!! It is honestly the best smell, and it just reminds on of Christmas! Just like Peeping Santa it gives great bubbles! It is so pretty and I adore the name! Make sure you go into Lush and smell this as it is 'lush' ;)

Like I said this is my favourite time of year, and Lush does not disappoint! I know there are so many Lush Hauls but I just wanted to share my favs this year, make sure to let me know what you have been loving this year from Lush!!
We are just two weeks to go!!
I also want to give my sister Sarah a BIG shoutout as it is her birthday today!! Love you!!

I have really made an effort all year round to make sure my room is looking nice, and Christmas is to excepted. I went with a sparkly, white, fairy light theme this year and I am so happy with it!

In July I made myself a brand new Twitter just  for my blog, it made it easier to follow other bloggers and share my posts,  without my friends being bombarded with my all my blog stuff. Over the last 6 months, I have spoken to so many people and with that made new friends.
One group of girls is a group called 'The Blogging Friends', we have a Whats App group, and as I have mentioned, I am posting twice a week in December, so I thought I would get them involved! I wanted to do a Christmas Q&A tag, so with the help of all the girls (links will be at the end) we came up with some festive  questions!!

1. What is your favourite Christmas song?
Now without giving too much away as I actually have a post going up later on, I would say anything by Michael Bublé, his album just makes Christmas!!

2. What is your favourite Christmas film?
Again, I have a post going up nearer Christmas lol, but last year I think I watched Arthur Christmas, too many times to count!!

3. When do you start feeling festive?
I think it depends on the year, but this year it was start-mid November! ;)

4. What is your favourite thing to do to get you in the Christmas spirit?
Dance and sing Christmas songs  and watch Christmas movies!!!

5. When do you put your Christmas decorations up?
For my own room, normally, the 1st of December, however, this year I decorated my dresser a little early to take some pics for the Advent Calender Post. I am exciting putting my family tree up as we speak! wooo!!

6. Do you prefer traditional or modern Christmas decorations?
I like a bit of both, modern for my bedroom and more traditional for my living room, however, you can't beat the 'red, green and gold' combo at Christmas!

 7.  What are your favourite Christmas food and Winter tipple?
100% Christmas flavoured crisps, Turkey, Sprouts and  Tesco even do Cocoa and Spiced Rum!!
And Winter tipple.... I love having Baileys or an Advocate!!!

8. What is your favourite Christmas smell?
Gingerbread (this gif is too funny) or real Christmas /pine tree smell!! Fun fact, I am super allergic to real trees so it is as good I am going to get :(

9. What is your favourite Christmas advert?
This year it has to be the Sainsbury's advert, I love the story behind it and I love the animated. Plus I love how it is James Corden singing!!

10. When do you start Christmas shopping?
I actually started earlier this year, to get it done with and then I don't have to think about it!!

11. Basic or patterned wrapping paper? Or give bags because #GirlHasNoTimeToBeWrapping
100% patterned, you need to go all out, it's Christmas remember!! But gifts bag when needed lol

12. What time do you wake up on Christmas day?
Now that I am older I get up late because I am classy and sophisticated and non-excited ahahahh
jk around half 7/8 as I honestly still get too excited!!!

13. What is the best Christmas present you've ever received?
Oh, I actually don't know, maybe something that was a major surprise and that I didn't expect!

14. What is the worst Christmas present you've ever received?
I haven't received anything that I have hated, however, the year I went Gluten Free I received a lot of non-gf products! Which was annoying :(

15. Do you prefer going out or staying in at Christmas?
Definitely staying in, PJs in the morning, festive clothes for dinner and the PJs at night, you can't beat it!!!!!!

16. Who cooks Christmas dinner, and what's your favourite part?
My mum, she nails it every year!!! It has to be the kilted sausages aka sausages wrapped in bacon! *heart eyed emoji*

17. When did you stop believing in Santa?
HE ISN'T REAL?!? WHAT??;)
Round about when I was 11, before I went up to high school.

18. Do you go see the Pantomime?
Yessss, every year! You can't have a Christmas without going to see the fun rubbish jokes ;)

19. Do you have any festive family traditions?
Watching Polar Express on Christmas Eve, fry-up for breakfast on Christmas morning and dinner at our house!!!

20. What is your most treasured Christmas Memory?
All the family round the Christmas table, I suppose now that I older,  I think back not on the gifts but the fun we had with my whole family, including my Grandparents! I don't know why but Christmas 2012 always stands out as a good one!!

Let me know any of your answers, I would love to hear!!
'The Blogging Friends' are posting at different times so check back as I will be updating when they come through!!

Can we talk about the fact it is the 1st of December tomorrow??
I am honestly so excited, I have been waiting patiently for this day to come! Whyy??? Advent Calendars of course!!! With all these amazing beauty Advent Calenders I thought I would go and treat myself to one (or two).
There were so many beautiful calendars, however, wayyy out my price range, so when I had a look on Superdrug and saw these two I knew I had to get my hands on them.

Make-Up Revolution
I haven't actually tried any of their products before but I have heard amazing reviews. With this calendar, you get 25 gifts, each full sized products! As you can see you can kinda work out what each is roughly going to be, however, the shade will be a surprise!
The packaging is gorgeous, I am a sucker for Rose Gold, and I only paid £25 which is a complete bargain! I can't wait to open each window and try each product!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics
First of all, this is just the most gorgeous packaging, it just looks so pretty on my dresser!!  As you know I love Tanya's products so I have been eyeing this for a while, I bought it when I realised it had Glitter pots inside!! That is right up my street especially at this time of year!!
With this calendar, it only has 12 windows so I think I will open them every two days, as I can't wait for 12 days before Christmas aha

Make sure you Follow me on Twitter and I will let you know what is inside each day!!

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate!!
You then cannot not have a chocolate advents calendars, I went with a Thorntons and Galaxy one!! Thornton's always have gluten free chocolate so that was a must and for the first time the Galaxy calendar did not contain or may contain wheat or gluten so I had to get my hand on that!! I also have one that my mum makes up and put on our wall so  I will be fine for chocolate for the next 25 days!!

I have been working hard on the different post for this festive period so I will be posting twice a week in the run-up. I was going to tackle Blogmas but I just have no time, quality over quantity right??
I am, however, giving my blog a festive make-over tomorrow, so make sure you check it out! I have already changed my footer, do you like??
Hope you are having a festive day!
