As you guys know, I love to travel, I love finding new places, new people and just exploring. Although I live in Edinburgh I never really explore it that much, Princess Street is as far as I go.
Last week my friend Rowan took me to one of the most beautiful places and I thought I would share my day.

We first went to Grams cafe, a health cafe which has some amazing healthy foods. I haven't been here before but you best believe I’ll be going back. I had Maple and Bacon Protein Pancakes and Rowan went with Avocado and toast. It was so yummy!

Rowan may or may not have got us lost on the way to Dean Village and we ended up walking at least 30 minutes in the wrong direction, however, we eventually got there and it was well worth it.
The village itself reminded me so much of France and gave me major Beauty and the Beast vibes. It honestly didn't even feel like we were in Edinburgh, the houses were just so pretty, and just so Instagram worthy.

I just thought I would add a little OOTD in this post.
My jacket, that I have gotten so many compliments on, is from Primark. It was £30, and the best thing I have ever bought, it may be a little too oversized but it is so cosy!!
The boots also from Primark, I got them in the sale for £6, which was a steal. They remind me of something Gucci is selling right now!!
I paired it with my gorg Kate Spade bag I got in the summer, my complete love!

We then carried on the walk, down by the river, which was just beautiful. I wasn't dressed remotely right for the outdoors and may have moaned when Rowan made me climb over the trees, however, it was well worth it.
I really do love being in the middle of nowhere, it is so peaceful and is so tranquil. The rivers and waterfalls were just so stunning, the sound of running water just makes me feel so calm. I wished we could have stayed there all day!
It all makes me want to head to Michigan, and start camp now!!!

We were actually going to go into the Art Gallery but after walking for 3 hours we just wanted to go home lol.
Other than getting the worst blistered, I had the best day. It is certainly a place that I want to go back too, esp in the Summer weather.
Thanks, Rowan, for such a fun day!
Let me know if you have been, or if you live in Edinburgh let me know your favourite spots?

If you follow me on Instagram then you will know that I recently took a trip to Florida, one of my favourite places. The main reason I went was to surprise my friend Sarah for her 21st, I bought the flight tickets  3 months in advance and with help from her mum (Thanks, Vicki), I managed to keep it a secret. Although it was a hard one I pulled it of, I never even posted that I was at the airport before I went, and that killed me! (lol)

Here's a candid pic when I arrived at the airport, Sarah cried, I cried and it made the 24-hour travelling and the spewing on the plane all worthwhile!!

Other than shopping, shopping and more shopping one of the biggest things we did was take a trip to Orlando, and after 3 years of waiting to go back to the parks, I finally got to go!!
On the first day, we went to Epcot (for no more than 10 mins because we were so confused, lol|) Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom.
Big shoutout to Delk for the tickets!

The second day, we took to the Isle of Adventure! We got absolutely drench on the Popeye ride, and when I say drench I mean head to toe wet!! It was a good job it was a hot day and we dried really quickly! We also went to the Harry Potter Land, which I was soo excited for, one of the reasons I wanted to go! I got to drink butter in Hogsmeade and I was just loving life!

I had an absolute blast and it was amazing to spend it with these to amazing girls!
We spent most of the week shopping and chilling and enjoying the Florida weather!
Thank you, Sarah and her Family for having Maddie and I for the week!
This post was soo overdue, I just haven't been in a blogging mood.
But I am back!
Hope you are all having a great week!
Love, Emma

If you don't know already I am a massive lover of travelling, for a girl that couldn't fly 3 years ago, I have certainly flipped a corner and now there is no stopping me.
I was so excited when Destination2 got in contact and asked me to share my Travel Bucket, they have amazing places and some greats deals.
Going to America is still a massive deal for me, however, I still want to branch out and go to more exciting and exotic places.
Here are my Top 5 places I want to  go:

The Maldives

*Photo Cred Nomadicmatt*

As you could probably tell this is just a pipe dream, unless I marry a rich man or win the lottery this won't happen, but this is beautiful. I have seen a few Youtubers heading to the Maldives recently and it just looks beautiful. The clear water and the sandy beach, I can just imagine myself sunbathing with a cocktail and a good book. Imagine a hotel room with this view *heart eyes*, I wouldn't want to leave.

Dubai

Dubai is up there with a country I really want to visit, it isn't far to travel to and it seems pretty cheap.  The Dubai Mall would be a complete must for me, I can't say to a holiday shopping trip. The Aquaventure Waterpark would be soo much fun, the sights look so pretty and the Dubai Fountains look stunning.

St Lucia

The Carribean has always appealed to me, it just looks so stunning in every picture. One place I would love to travel to is St Lucia, just like the rest the views are stunning and would give me hella good insta pics ;)  The Tet Paul Nature Trail looks like you get some stunning views, the Diamond Waterfall is just incredible and don't get me started on how gorgeous the Botanical Gardens look.
I have also heard that you can zip lip over the Rainforest, how cool would that be.

The Bahamas

Sticking with the Caribbean, I would love to travel to The Bahamas, this is probably never gonna happen but still, a girl can dream. The Nassau Snorkel tour looks amazing as well as all the boat tour you can go on.  As a gal that loves pink, the Pink Sand Beach would have to be a must. (imagine the pictures tho). I would also love to stay at Paradise Island and stay in paradise (lol, how cheesy).

Greece

Somewhere a little more in my price range and more realistic would be Greece. There is just something about the look of the buildings and architecture. I imagine myself in a white flowy dress feeling like a goddess (lol). I would have to visit any sights that have anything to do with Mamma Mia, check out Mount Olympus and visit Athens.

I do love travelling so you never know these could happen in the future!!
Let me know where you would love to go?

If you don't know I have been gluten-free since 2012, it has become a lot easier now to get GF products and food in restaurants, most places have gluten-free menus.  However, I always find going abroad a lot harder and one place I have been a lot is Disneyland Paris. Every year I tend to research to see if they have added any more detail to information about allergies but it just seems to be the same. I thought I would share my tips, experiences and my Best and Worst Restaurants.

First things first breakfast, most restaurants are buffet styled. The fruit and veg are gluten free and most of the meat plus you get hard boiled eggs and omelettes. If you ask one of the waiters they will come out with a basket of free-form food, Cake, bread, and crisps bread. My mum had an omelette on the bread, it isn't the best bread but its something.
I actually put ham on the crisps bread, took some fruit and ate this for lunch.

Which leads me on to inside the park, obviously the waffles and crepes are off limits, however, the popcorn is gluten free as well as the toffee apples at that time of year. Most of the crips are gluten-free just like the chocolate. You just have to check, lucky for us gluten is gluten in French.
One really great thing is that Disney's ice cream they use is Ben & Jerry's, so it was really easy to work out what was GF, just ask it without the wafer. I went with Peanut Buttercup, which was heaven!!
I would say, nevertheless, take food from breakfast and bring snacks with you just in case.

Top Places to go:

Planet Hollywood- This is the one of the best! They have an actual GF menu. I would avoid the pizza if you don't like frozen pizzas, however, they have amazing Gluten free buns/rolls that can be put on any burgers. I went with the chicken burger which was yummy!! The menu is great and has a wide selection.
It is however quite pricey and it's not excluded in any half-board offers. But in my opinion, it is so worth it!

Restaurants De Stars- We did a little more research this year and found this place was great. It is a buffet and we were a little worried as buffets can be hit or miss, but this was a major hit.
The best thing was that they knew exactly what we were talking about and had an allergen menu for us. (Sorry about the pic, I felt awkward as the waiter was holding it!)
They have a great range of salad, but also rice, stew and the best part was the meat. They had the chef cut the meat for you. My mum and I went with the ham, rice and veg.
They also had a range of deserts, trifle and the floating island was the winner for us.
We actually went 2/4 days as we loved it so much, this is included in the half board deal.

Places to bear in mind:

Inventions- Disneyland Hotel: This is a buffet style restaurant, just like breakfast, however, there is a lesser choice to eat. If you like rice and simple veg then it's the place for you.
They weren't as clued up as Restaurants de Stars, no-one really knew what we were saying and it was just awkward. They had fruit and sweets for dessert and that was it.
I feel like most restaurants will be the same, I would just ask. Not the worst, but not worth the money!

Rainforest Cafe- They don't have a gluten-free menu, but they are a bit more clued up. The steak and salmon are GF as well as the Cobb Salad. I have also had the Ceasor salad without dressing and croutons.
If you like that they bear that in mind, it is very expensive though so maybe not worth it either.

Walts Diner-  This is a recent find, this restaurant is located on Main Street.  Again they don't have a GF menu but they are willing to try,  just like Rainforest they have salads. Ask without croutons and it is perfectly fine, again maybe not worth all that money for some leaves and chicken.

McDonald's: If you want a cheap simple meal, then maccy dees is the way to go. You can only eat the chips, plain salad and burger without the bun but like I said it is cheap and quick!

Places to avoid:

Cafe Mickey: They have a set menu which does not include GF products

Annettes Dinner: One of the worst, if you have looked up gluten-free in Disney then you'll know that they have an allergy meal. Annettes never even tried to make anything for us, they gave us the allergen meal, and I would highly recommend avoiding! It is a microwave meal, and not great at all.

Lastly any burger places, ie Videooplis: They just sell burgers and have no GF product.

My biggest advice is to do your research, take snacks and just don't worry!
If you have any more questions just ask!
Have a great time in Disney!

As Summer has officially ended and we are now into Autumn,  I thought I would share my summer highlights before it gets too cold and cosy and Summer is a thing of the past.
As you know I spent my summer in America in a Summer camp, it was the best thing I ever have done, however, I was lucky enough to travel before and after camp, as well as days off.

I started my travels in New York, New York as to be my favourite place to visit, I don't know what it is but I just feel at ease. Here are some touristy moments I had on my trip!

During camp, we had days off, one of my favourites places that I visited whilst in Michigan was Mackinac Island! It was beautiful, the town reminded me of Disneyland! We rode around the island on tandems, ate ice-cream and just had just a chill day!!!

Then, after camp finished Maddie and I headed to Chicago for a quick stop! We visited the Aquarium, ate more ice-cream and took many Ubers!!

We then took a bus down to Indiana to meet up with Ashton and Emma, Ashton's hometown. We had a quick tour around her sorority, got tattoos and then it was time to head to somewhere new!

Nashville was next!!

Last but least, Atlanta and Florida! I stayed with Sarah and her family, it was so nice to relax. We went to the beach, chilled by the pool, shopped and shopped ;)

I had the best summer and shared it with the best people!! I am so grateful for this opportunity and so happy that I knock off a few more states on my bucket list!
Now it is all steam ahead for Autumn/Winter ;)

Let me know what states you have visited?
