As I have mentioned before,  every since I chopped my hair off I have had to put so much more effort into maintaining my hair. I have been loving straitening my hair so when the Irresistible Me contacted me to review their Jade Brush, a ceramic straightening brush, I jumped at the chance.
I have actually seen these before and have been eying these up so I was super excited to give it a go.

First of all, the mint green colour of the brush of gorgeous, that is one of my favourite colours so having this on my dresser or in my room is going to be the best. Not to mention how glamourous the packaging looks, I might have to keep it in the box just to show it off.
In terms of the product, as you can see it looks like a normal brush but with a twist!

It didn't take long to heat up at all which is a bonus, I mean who had time to wait??
I cranked it up quite high as my hair doesn't straighten well but you can change from 270º(130ºC)  to 450ºF(230ºC)  270º(130ºC) depending on how hot you want it to be.
You may want to add some heat protection products just to make sure your hair stays healthy, (I want to do a full hair care post so keep an eye out)
It was hot enough to straighten my hair, however,  what I love it never burnt my scalp or hands, which is such a result!!

I sectioned my hair my hair into three(top/front, middle/back and bottom) and easily straighten each section, there was no fiddling with a brush and straighteners as this an all in one!!
The handle gave a good enough grip so I was able to glide it through my hair.  It is lightweight so my arms weren't killing me by the end and it has an 8ft swivel cord which is perfect for dancing around my room with ;)

My only downside is as much as it was super easy to use I felt I had to straighten my hair a few times before it was actually perfect, however, like I said I do have major issues with my hair and its flicky-ness (yes that's a word ;)) so I wasn't fussed.
Also if you purchase outside America you will need to buy an adaptor, I had already bought one, I think I got mine for £3 in Argos, so they are super cheap!
Overall,  I absolutely love this product, can't wait to use it in my daily hair routine.

The Jade Brush is available on Irresistible Me if you want to have a look. They also have gorgeous headbands, like the one is my picture!

Let me know if you have ever tried this brush?? What are your thoughts??
Hope you are having a great day!!
*Disclaimer, I was sent this product but  I have given all my honest options*

A fashion post, I know.. it has been a while!! For some reason, I just don't buy clothes for myself or if I do, I never know how to feature them on my blog. I do want to start doing OOTD style posts, I just need to get my confidence up! However, I bought a few things in the sale so I thought I would share!

'Blue American Dreamer Denim Jacket' -£20
I have been looking for an oversized denim jacket for such a long time, I just love every outfit I have seen paired with it! I saw this on Missguided I had to buy it, 1. as it was the cheapest I could find (lol) and 2. as the back says 'American Dreamer' and that best describes me ;) I love the distressed look on the arms and on the front, it gives it that vintage vibe!
I am in love with it!

'Pink Cold Shoulder Ruched Waisted Slinky Playsuit' - £10
I also purchased this gorgeous Pink Playsuit on Missguided. I have a few nights outs coming up, so I  thought it would be nice to buy something new! This caught my eye because of the colour, it is a salmon pink, not to in your face but yet not too pale. The sparkle is a win, as well as the cold shoulder and high neck.  I just think it is so pretty, the pics don't do it justice!

'Cut Out Shoulder T-Shirt' -£9.99
Sticking to the cold shoulder phase, I picked up the gorgeous top from Zara, again I just love the colour. I wear a lot of blacks so I wanted to add a little colour, and this is one of my favourites!
I am obsessed with the high neck, and the wider sleeves make it wearable into spring! This was just under £10 which I think is a bargain, I always underestimate Zara's prices! I think I will have to have a look more often!

'Anabelle Daisy Print Jersey Culottes'- £10
'Betty Blue Tile Tassel Trim Shorts' - £5
So if you don't know I am headed off to America to work in the summer, I have a lot of summer clothes from last year but what I was missing was shorts! I didn't have a lot of summer shorts so I had a quick look and picked up these two pairs of shorts. I think these will be better to be worn on my days of, as I have a feeling these will get ruined easily but I just loved them so much!!
I love the pattern and I love how they are so flowy!

'Elephant Printed Belted Trousers' - £6
Lastly, I picked up this pair of Elephant print trousers, I just think these will be perfect for travelling in. They are a very soft cotton material and will be super comfy, but I could also wear at night on my days off, or on camp. I just love the print, you can't go travelling without elephant print ;) They are one size but come with a belt!
They were £6 which I think is a bargain.
Unfortunately, they are not on the Boohoo website anymore, but I have linked another pair of elephant trousers for £9 if you want to check out them out!

Let me know if you have any posts on sale shopping, would love to read them??
Do you want to see any OOTD posts and do you have any tips to feel more confident in them?
Hope everyone is having a good day!!

I always feel like New year Resolutions are so dumb, we all know that they won't work and within a few weeks its back to same old same old. However, last year I set a pretty simple goal to achieve and that was Confidence. I wanted to step out my comfort zone and just be confident.
I think I pretty much nailed it, I think 2016 was the year I came out my bubble. I travelled places on my own that I didn't think I would, realising it wasn't that bad.

I mentioned my struggles with public transport last year and I can say 100% I am so much better, I can get the bus and not think anything of it. I got the bus after a night out at like 2 in the morning on my own, something that I would never have thought last year would happen.

I also made my way to Manchester with the help of lovely Hannah, who I met for the first time at the train station, to the meet 6 others (Shout out to Emily, Fran, Robyn, Jade, James and Cei) who we had just spoke online. To me, that is a big deal, and actually, I made some of the best friends out of it. We have actually planned another trip to meet up at the end of this month, again I need to travel on my own. Does that bother me?? NO!

The biggest thing this year was obviously getting accepted to Camp Tanuga through Americamp, I have been wanting to work in a summer camp since I was young so this is *cringe* a dream come true. I am going to be travelling on my own and meeting some girls over there to start our summer, this is a little more daunting however I know I can do it!

2016 was so successful for me that I feel that I can't top it, however, this year I was to take more time for me. I want to be able to not stress over a text that I haven't had a reply to or a friend that I haven't seen in months. My mum said to me in the later part of 2016 that I used to be,  so carefree and not worry about anything and that I now I stress about tiny little things, and yeah that is true and I want that to change.

I also want to take my confident and not be afraid to meet new people, yeah I lost friends, but by the end of the year, I made so many amazing others that I am so grateful for!
For some people, 2016 was rubbish but not to be complete CRINGE but I actually loved it, it really changed my outlook on everything!!

I have so many amazing exciting things happening this year and I can't wait!!!
I really want to hear what you achieved this year? What are your goals?
Have a good one!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Firstly, How was everyone's New Year, did you all have fun?? Secondly, do you all like my new blog, I gave it a bit of a make-over!
If you follow me on Instagram or on Snapchat then you will know that I went to Iceland for New Year, it was a place that I had heard was insane to visit but just never thought I would make it there. Ringing in the bells in another country with the hustle of Edinburgh was so relaxing!!  I had the best time and I thought I would share some pictures!

As there was 6 of us that went we booked a cute Airbnb in Hestfjall, just outside Selfoss. It was absolutely stunning, it was more like a cabin, it was so cute and cozy. Waking up to this view every morning was just a dream!!

We got into Iceland super late on the 29th so the first proper day was the 30th. The girls had booked to go Snorkeling in Thingvellir National Park, however, I decided not to due to my bad ears! Watching them struggle to get the suits on was funny but at the same time quite stressful. I got great views of the snow and mountains, and as much as it was freezing I love soaking it all in!

The second day (31st) was all about the Blue Lagoon, this is what I most excited about! We paid for standard but on the day we upgraded to premium, we got robes and flip flops and were able to use most face masks, as well as get a drink at the bar. The water was stunning and it was so relaxing, deffo one of my highlights and the best way to spend the last day of 2016!
We then went back to the cabin, played a few games, got a little merry and rung in the new year with viewing  The Northern Lights singing 'Auld Lang Syne'.

The next day we decided to tackle the Golden Circle' by ourselves, we had the car so it was perfect. We had researched the main places and headed off. First stop was the Keris Crater, then we drove to Gulfoss Waterfall, which was stunning! Lastly was the Hot Springs Geysir! We had a bite to eat and then headed but, we did the whole thing into 3/4 hours which was amazing!
We had planned a cruise to see the Northern Lights but unfortunately due to the weather it was canceled so we headed into Reykjavik for some dinner, I wished I could have spent more time there, as it was such a cute little town!

We left very early on the Monday to catch the flight, having a smoothie and crying over how expensive the Victoria's Secret was at the airport! :(

Hope you enjoy my pics, photo cred to Steph and Danielle on a few pictures!!

I had the best time and it was so nice ringing into the New Year with these girls!!!

I can't wait for 2017, it is going to be the best year!!
Happy New Year!
