Hey guys, first of all I want to thank everyone for clicking on my blog and reading my posts over the last 15 months!! I hit my first major accomplished while I was in Malta, although maybe to some people it doesn't seem a lot, but I hit 10,000 page views.
This number is massive to me and it keeps growing, I never really know what to expect with this blog so thank you!!
I thought to celebrate I would go old school and post my everyday make-up using drugstore products! I think since the last time I posted this it has changed!

I first of all use my second (to Nars ) favourite foundation and that is Max Factor CC Cream. You can't actually buy this in the shops as it has been discontinued but I did purchase this on Amazon! I am so annoyed they stopped putting it on the shelf but glad I can still buy it!
I use my Zoeva Buffer brush and my Beauty Blender to blend in onto my face.

I then use I mixture of Collection 2000 concealer and NYX HD Concealer, they have a great combination for both highlight and covering blemishes.
I apply it using this curved foundation brush. I bought this of Amazon, it was only £1.50 so it isn't the best but it does a pretty good job!

Depending if I want a dewy face or matte, or if I have a partially shiny face, I will powder my face using Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder.
I use the Real Techniques Powder Brush, which again is one of my favourites.
Whether I am doing a 'drugstore' face or 'high-end' face I will reach for this all the time, it just has the best staying power and gives my face a flawless look.
I 100% would recommend this if you haven't tried it!

In terms of bronzer I have been using a mixture of a Kiko and a MUA bronzer. I tend to contour with the Kiko one as it is slightly darker and then I use the MUA one for bronzing my face up. I never took a picture of the MUA bronzer as I have hit pan hard and its not nice to look at. ;)
I use a Zoeva Cream Cheek brush and a Real Technique brush (I'm not sure what it is called as I have used it too much and the writing has rubbed off, but it was part of the Nic Picks collection)
I blend it in giving my a nice subtle contour.

Depends how I feel I will highlight my face. I don't have any other drugstore highlighter other than this ST Moriz Powder. It is a bronzer powder but it is so shimmery that I apply it on top of my cheekbones to give a great shimmer.

I'll then do my eye brows. I first of all,  brush through my eyebrows and then use my Naked Basics 2 palette. I used the shade 'Cover' so much that I have none left so I use 'Primal'.
I know Urban Decay isn't a drugstore brand but I either use Primal or a Mac Shadow to fill in my brows. Then I apply Gimme Brow by Benefit over my brows to help keep them in place. Then I will brush them out again.

Lastly, my eyes. This look is normally for my work or a quick everyday look so I tend not to put eyeshadow on. If I do I will use my Naked Basic palette for a simple smokey eye.

Then I will curl my eyelashes and use either Maybelline The Falsies or Lash Sensational. I will probably put a few coats of mascara to help give me volume.

I will set my face depending on how long I need my make-up to stay on for, with my Urban Decay Setting spray. Ill pop on a really natural lipstick or gloss and then I am good to go!

Make sure you are following my Instagram for selfies of this look.
Let me know what your favourite Drugstore products are?
And thanks again for the 10k!

So I know I have been inactive but the last two weeks I have been in Malta on a family holiday, I was planning on posting but the wifi in the hotel was awful. It was actually nice to have that time away from the Internet and spend my time with my family!
I thought I would share some of my pics that I took throughout my trip!

We stayed at the Mellieha Bay Hotel, we used to go there a lot when I was younger so after 10 years it was so weird to go back.
Having this as my view every morning was amazing to wake up to!!

Again the view from the beach was incredible . Walking this every day was so nice and beats Scotland any day!

Valletta was one of the places we visited throughout our trip. I can't really remember going when I was younger so it was a good experience going back. I didn't know what to expect but I was surprised that this area had a lot of shops.
I never thought I would spend a lot of money but after I found a chemist that sold makeup I kind of went all out! I think I will do a haul next week with everything I purchased!
It was a lovely area, we actually visited it a few times.

We also visited Popeye Village, again I visited it when I was younger but I can't remember it that much! It is basically the set of the cartoon/film Popeye, if you are interested in that I would 100% recommend it! It was a super nice day and a great 30-minute walk from the hotel.
The harbour was beautiful, unfortunately, it was shut but it was a great view.

Gozo was another place we visited, we took the ferry across, it was super windy but although it doesn't look like a nice day, it was still hot!
We visited the capital, Victoria, I did some shopping, we visited the Citadel and I got a Calippo!
I used to love getting the green ones when I came to Malta when I was younger! MAJOR THROWBACK!

Most of the holiday was spent chilling by the pool, walking along the beach and reading books!
I got through all the Divergent books, which was so sad, which was great to have so much down time!!!

Although I never got the best tan, it was amazing just to chill and not stress!
Hope you enjoyed my pics!

April has been such a quick month, it's also been quite boring! I've just been getting back into work and 'normal life' after New York!
However, it's been a very good month for new things, which means I have plenty to talk about in my April Favourites.

I haven't got any beauty items this month other than Dermalogica products!
I was given these products by Dermalogica, so I didn't pay for them but I will 100% be buying them again!
I've been using the Multi-active Toner for a while but I have noticed the redness on my cheek have improved after I added it to my everyday routine.
I've recently started to use Daily Microfoliant every day. I was unsure as it is a powder but oh my... It makes my skin feel so soft and clean and has helped with my breakouts!
I might do an updated skincare routine soon, but if you haven't checked them out, I would highly recommend them!

Next up I'll have to mention my new iPhone. I pre-ordered the iPhone SE as my contract was up just in time. I picked the Rose Gold colour and it beautiful!! It is pinker than I thought but that just makes it better!
In terms of what is different from the 5S, to me, not a lot! The camera is definitely better but I am not a tech guru to know the ins and outs!
It has a bigger storage, more data and a better camera, and that's all that I could ask for!!

I feel like I'm always mentioning music in my favourites, but I feel my taste changes a lot. This month I have been loving Ella Henderson and Lorde.
Ella is thanks to the gals I went to New York with, Amy and Steph. I wasn't that big a fan, I never gave her music a listen but after 1996 was on repeat in NYC I fell in love with her music! 1996 or Empire are my favs.
I guess I've always like Lorde but I'm  having a major phase of playing Yellow Flicker Beat and Team on repeat. So I thought I would give her music a go.
Both Ella and Lorde now have a playlist on Spotify together which is on none stop ;)

Adding a new book in this month, I rarely take the time to sit down and read. I would normally go for watching a YouTube video or online shopping, but after finally finishing Gone Girl I've became hooked on reading!
I've never read or seen Divergent so I picked up this booked back in July in Florida and I'm just getting to read it now!
I feel that being such a big fan of The Hunger Games I was being a traitor For reading the books! But now that that series is finished I can move on!
I'm already really enjoying Divergent and I can't  stop reading, it's not what I was expecting, but it's better! I am almost finished the first one which is getting too intense.

Completely random favourite has to go to this Marks and Spencer's boost juice! It's the best thing I have drank. Pineapple and watermelon are two of my favourite fruits so together with Aloe Vera just is heaven! I've been finding I am going to get one every
lunch time to help me get through the day!
It just makes me so excited for summer

Youtube wise I tend to stick to the same kind of videos but after Zoe mention the Saccone-Jolys in her videos a while back I thought I would give them a watch. To start with I would watch a few but the last few months I have been watching them religiously! The family are so cute and I am so excited for the new baby!

Last but not least I have to say I am loving my room, I've been buying a few bits and pieces but it's finally coming together! I am loving the bohemian theme right now! I want to do a full room/dresser tour so keep an eye for that.
room right now! Over the last few months, it's just been a bit of a clutter, I haven't organised it nor have I had any order.

I also want to apologise for the lack of post, motivation is a massive factor as well as creativity. I love my blog and I don't want to stop but sometimes you need to step back before you start hating it.
I am going to 100% try to upload more, I have ideas in mind so bare with me.
Thanks for being patient!
Love Emma
