July has actually been a long month,  I turned 21, I went to see Beyonce, I then I got sick. It took a while for me to actually get over my sinusitis and finally get back to normal.
Now that July is nearly over, I need August to go quick so Autumn can't come fast  enough!  However, it is that time of the month to talk about what I have been loving!

My number one favourite HAS to be the book All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. If you don't know it is part of Zoe's Wh Smith book club. I picked up a few books but by far this was my favourite, I generally couldn't put it down. It is probably one of the quickest books I've read. It's happy and it's sad and hits the emotional feels!!!

My blog related favourite is Twitter blog chats, if you don't know there is a great blog community over on twitter and over the last few weeks I have got myself involved in these chats. It is nice to speak to others that share the same passion as you, I also find that I get great blog ideas as well as making friends. I would certainly check them out.
I actually set up a new twitter for my blog, just click on the picture and make sure to give me a follow!

Next favourite has to be Tanya Burr new nail polish in 'Soft Pajamas', I did a full review on the Soft Luxe Collection but by this is is my favourite. Like I mentioned, I haven't been using it as a matte nail polish but I have been loving the colour. I have reapplied this so much this month, I feel in the Autumn it again will be a firm favourite.

Make-up favourites this month goes to Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Foundation. I actually bought this back in May coming back from Malta, but I just using it now. As much as it is the lightest shade I still find it a wee bit darker than what I am used to. It is a little oily than I am used too, however, it is still great coverage.

I am going to group these last favourites together as there are all birthday gifts. I never got round to write a birthday haul as like I mentioned I got very ill and I lay on the sofa for over two weeks. Nevertheless, most of my gifts have to be featured in my favourites.
Firstly,  my Princess necklace and my Pandora ring from my Sister Sarah,  I had actually asked for the  ring, it matches my Tiffany bracelet and I just think it is simple but effective. However, the necklace was just a lovely surprise and the cutest thing ever, because I AM a Princess ;) (Thanks, sis <3)

Next, up are the three perfumes I received. Now Chance Chanel has been my favourite since my 16th birthday but I had run out so I was very grateful for my parents buying it again.
Then two new perfumes from the girls from my work, (shoutout Saahliha, Louise, Jorji and Sarah), 'Emporio Armani-Diamonds Rose' and 'Calvin Kelin-Down Town'.
Both I have been extremely loving this month! I always stick to the same perfume so it is great to have a few more to add to my collection!
I want to thank everyone that got my gifts for my birthday, I really appreciate them!

Let me know what your favourites have been in the month of July?
Also if you have any group/chats you are involved in?

I am not sure exactly where I saw this post originally, but I thought it was just a great idea!
This is based on a 'going out' make-up look, compared to an everyday look. I am not sure how I am looking forward to this as I have seen a lot of pricey faces but let's give a go!
*Some of these items I purchased in America so I have used a converter*

Face

Primer: Hourglass Mineral Primer £35
Foundation: Nars Sheer Glow for £31
Concealer: Collection 2000 Concealer for £4.19
Contour/Highlight: Anatasia Beverley Hill Cream Contour Pallette for £39
Bronzer: Nars Laguna Bronzer for £28
Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder for £5.99
Highlighter: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette for £59

Total: £201.18

*shocked emoji!!!*

Eyes

Eyebrows: Naked Basic 2 Pallette for £23
Mascara: Maybelline Falsies and Benefit Bad Gal Lash for £27
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay- Gwen Stefani Palette for £40

Total:  £90

Lips/Setting Spray

Kylie Jenner Lipkit for £25
Urban Decay Setting Spray for £22

Total:  £47

DRUM ROLL.......

Grand Total: £338.18

WOW, it is A LOT more than I thought when starting this post! *Complete facepalm moment*
I am surprised at how much the 'face' section cost, I never realised how much I put on my actual face!
What makes me feel better is that I obviously do not use this all at once and most of this last a long time. This is also what I use when I go out/ for a special occasion so I don't feel as bad!
Another big factor is the exchange rate, some of these items, like I said, where bought in America before the pound went down, so I would of got it cheaper.

I am thinking about doing an everyday post like this. Let me know if you want to see this?
I recommend everyone to do this as it is quite fun :)

This post may be a bit late since her new collection was released a few weeks ago but it was my birthday and then I, unfortunately, I got an ear infection/sinusitis and was laid up on the sofa.
However, I always get excited when bloggers/YouTubers release beauty products! I feel like I need to support them in the products they bring out, Tanya Burr being no different!
I picked up a few products of her new Soft Luxe Collection and I thought I would share what I got and how much I liked them.

The first product I picked up, my favourite, was the Enchanted Dreams Eye Pallette. It has 4 gorgeous colours, 'Moonlit Walk' (shimmer), 'Cocoa Plus'(shimmer), 'Berry Souffle'(Matte) and 'Magic Carpet'(matte).
I love the mixture of matte and shimmer shades and will be great for a smokey eye. Just like Tanya's palettes, the colours are very pigmented and blend very well. The palette is completely affordable and easy to get your hands on.

Next up, is the Soft Luxe Lipgloss, this was the product I was most excited about. During, the ongoing hype of Kylie LipKits, I think it was great Tanya brought out a more affordable matte lipgloss. I bought the colour 'Puppy Paws' thinking it was going to be a cute pink. However, I will say it is very bright, too bright for my skin colour and I won't actually wear it.
I am quite annoyed I picked up this colour  as the formula is great, a thin layer goes a long way and the staying power is fab. I have heard great things about 'Martha Moo' so definitely check it  out.

Lastly, is her Matte Nail Polish in the shade 'Soft Pyjamas', Now I am not 100% sure on matte nails, I think it looks pretty, however, I have long nails and I find it chips easily.
Nevertheless, I picked up this gorgeous grey/lilac colour. The colour is very neutral but I feel that it will go with everything. I haven't actually worn it as matte, as like I said I am just not sure. I did put a top coat over it but it dried quickly and  the matte effect was lovely.

The overall collection is perfect, the packaging is darling and think my favourite. The products themselves are fab and the prices are amazing.

If you are in Superdrug or browsing on FeelUnique definitely pop them in your basket.

Make sure to check out my last Tanya Cosmetics review!

Hope you are having a fab day, Let me what your favourite products are?

So on yesterday I said Goodbye to being 20 and said hello to being 21, it is pretty scary. Saying I was 20 was bad enough but now I am 21. I suppose in the UK it isn't that big of a deal, it just means the next time I am in America I can actually have a drink and enjoy the nightlife. ;)
My 20th year has been jammed packed and I would say one the best years of my life, so I thought I would do a major throwback and look back at  what I experienced and what I achieved!

Starting the day after I turned 20 was the biggest and the most exciting thing I think I have ever done, and that was finally making my way over to America. If you have known me you will know that I haven't been a great traveller, so the fact that I jumped on a plane to Las Vegas was a big deal. Spending time in Las Vegas was like a dream come true and seeing Ryan and Joanne marry was even better. The whole atmosphere was amazing, the Lazy River at the MGM Grand, where we stayed, was one of my highlights!
Then if I thought Las Vegas was great  going to Florida was even better! Staying in my family home and enjoying that Florida life was just the best. The shopping, the swimming, saving baby turtles,  more shopping, and making it to the Parks was just the best!  Harry Potter world was again a dream come true, I remember when it opened I never thought I would make it, so it was beyond exciting to be drinking butterbeer in Hogsmeade. Those 3 weeks just set the year of for me and  I just want to thank everyone who made it happen especially my mum who was my saviour, taking me to the parks and bailing me out when I overspent at Victoria's Secret! ;)

After getting back to reality,  I went to see Gabrielle Aplin in September! I have been to several of her gigs and every time she delivers, I met her again after the gig, she is one of the nicest people to meet!  It then  marked my mums birthday so once again I took a trip with my family to Paris. Disney is just a magical place to be. It was great to finally make it back into Central Paris seeing the Eiffel Tower and just soaking in the atmosphere ! It is certainly one of my favourite places to visit. Despite what has happened recently I would love to back.

Very soon after we got back I went to my last One Direction concert. Being a fan for so long it was emosh that I might not be seeing them again, after the last 5/6 years, which is insane! It was an amazing send-off and a great night.

Then it was Christmas, it was all fun and games at the start but when you are laid in bed for the best 2 weeks of the year it is just no fun. The low point was certainly getting my ear infection and literally  feeling sorry for myself watching Xmas movies on my sofa. I did have a great day and got spoiled!
It was also sad as it was the anniversary of my Grandad death and also the first year without my Grandma!

Things, however,  picked up as the week ending and starting the new year consisted of a family party, a Hen night,  a New Year Ball and my cousins Shelley and Elvis's wedding!
The excitement then carried on to  my first NTA in London, getting VIP and seeing the show was amazing.  Also getting myself on  tv again was super cool! ;)

Life was pretty quiet for the rest of January and February, but it was leading up to one of the best trips EVER. NEW YORK. I was never going to New York until January when  Steph and Amy asked if I wanted to go, I obviously said yes and within a few days, my flights were booked  and I was good to go. I could talk all day about NYC but overall it was great for my confidence, but maybe not for my bank balance. ;)

The end of March and April were pretty chill, however, May was another exciting month for me. After 10 years we finally made it back to Malta! It was so nice just to relax by the pool with family and have a major chillout. It was pretty nostalgic being back at the hotel but I can't complain and I had an incredible time.

To finish my 20th year, I had a fab birthday night out with the best people, and a great day on my actual birthday! I want to thank everyone who bought me gifts and wished me well.

Reflecting on last year, I think I achieved and accomplished a lot. It wasn't all about trips, it was about pushing myself that little bit more. Number one would have to be meeting some dogs. I have had a fear of dogs since I was very little and to be able to say that I can be fine with the dogs 'in my life' feels great. Thanks to Ailsa and Leo for being good sports ;)
Next up, would be finally putting a deposit for a Camp in America for next Summer. I had my heart set on this year but everything happens for a reason!
And Lastly, racing the Race For Life for the fourth time, now more than ever it was important that I raced to think about everyone who has died of Cancer, including my Grandma. It was nice to race it with Sarah (my sister) and my mum, even if I did race off at the end ;)

As you can tell my 20th year was unimaginable and I couldn't have asked for a better year.
I have linked any posts that are relevant throughout the post if you want to check them out.
Thank you to everyone who has made my year and also read my blog, love ya!!
Here's to another year,

Wow, how fast is the year going! The first few days of this month have been a bit bland, how rubbish has the weather been, like come on, it is July!!! Anyway, July is an exciting month, my 21st on Tuesday and Beyonce on Thursday, so I can't really complain!
I should be uploading a birthday haul so keep an eye out either Tuesday or Wednesday, but for now here are my June Favourites! :)

Starting with none beauty favourites, I'm not sure if I've ever mention my love for Gossip Girl on my blog so I thought I would give it a mention!
I went through a massive obsession with it and then kinda stopped! I watched it on and off, but this month I raced through Season 5 and 6 and sadly finished it!
I feel like if you are a super girly girl then you would love this programme!
I kinda wanna watch it all again, one, because it was amazing and two, since going to New York it is so weird to see places I've been!
I will miss watching it ALOT, but I'm still Just waiting to find my Nate Archibald! ;)

I feel like I'm so late to be posting these albums in my favourites but I just recently purchased them and have been listening to them non-stop! Number one is Adele's 25 album. Her voice is insane and her music is incredible! If I want to have a chill out session, this is perfect.
Number Two is  Beyoncé - Lemonade! Her voice is also insane but I am so excited that I am actually seeing Queen B in a few days! This music has been perfect for when I want to jam and have a good dance!
Some days I can jam to Beyoncé and then I can jam to Adele. It's the Best of Both Worlds!
My favourite song is A Million Years ago, that just hits major feels, and Daddy's Lesson because it is so catchy!

A new purchase make-up wise this month, was these Real Techniques Brushes! From what I gather they are only sold at SuperDrug but I could be wrong. After getting my Zoeva brushes I swore I wasn't going to buy any more brushes  but after I heard great things about these,  I bought them on a wimp.
I will always say that I feel Real Technique brushes are highly  underrated and are some of the best! And these are no different!
The 'Fanning' brush is perfect to apply highlight on my cheek bones, and both the Sculpting Brush  And the Setting Brush are great for contour! Paired with the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit, they have been a great addition to my collection!

I have also been loving my Naked 2 palette, I got it at Christmas(what I got here)  and I'm starting to really use it now! It has a lot of great Browns for a smokey eye but what I love is the shimmer shades! I have been reaching for this palette a lot through June! My favourites have been 'Snakebite' and 'BootyCall' which is a gorgeous highlight.

My beauty favourites this month HAVE to be Zoe's new range, I did a full post about it (here).  The little purse which has been perfect to help motivate me to save money for next year and the Sweet Inspirations body mist ,which I have gotten complimented on a lot when I wear it, have been my ultimate fav out the collection and had to make it on this post!

Last and not least has to be a personal favourite, and that is pushing myself more. I tend to stick to my comfort zone and sometimes that doesn't get me anywhere.
I went to a family party where for the first time ever the dog Leo was there. He was always put in the kennels but I wanted to get over my fear and be in the same house as him, it ended up being completely fine and I had been worrying over nothing.
I also went to my first ever Blog Meet-up hosted by Ruth , meeting different bloggers and just having a good chat was something I would never do. It was great fun and I ended up meeting the lovely Jade (blog here). If anyone has any meet-ups in Edinburgh let me know!!
And the biggest moment for me this month was putting a deposit down for Americamp 2017, I had wanted to work at a Summer camp this year but I just wasn't ready. But my deposit is down for next year plus my application has been started. I am LEGIT so excited for next year!! So fingers crossed!

Let me know what you have been loving, and if you have any fun plans ahead?
Love Emma
