So as the Summer is officially coming to a close, the nights are getting shorter and the weather is definitely getting colder, and all I want to do is just have a cosy night in with friends. I recently had a super relaxing night in with Rowan so I thought I would share what we got up too.

First stop was to get food, I had just worked a 9-5 so I was starving! We opted for Wagamamas, I have been Wagas a few times and since I have a gluten intolerance I have to make them aware. They have always been so kind with their service towards me. If you have any allergies then they bring you out a booklet, yes slightly embarrassing but it tells you what you can and can't eat, as well as what can be modified.
I will say the staff at the Edinburgh Lothian Road store were more helpful, nevertheless, the food was fab, I went for Tamari Chicken. Catching up with Rowan and having her great company just set the evening off.

After we got back we had a Snapchat binge, we had so much fun with the filters, as Rowan's phoned just updated, (follow my snaps). Then it was  time to take off our makeup and throw on our pj's. I used Emma Hardie's cleansing balm to take  Rowans and my own makeup off. Despite the fact she lost her nose ring down the sink, I think she liked it.

Nothing says a Girls Night without some Facemasks, I actually just picked these up at Boots for a £1 each. I used a honey mask to help with my breakouts, whilst Row when with a cucumber mask to help clean her skin.  The consistency was actually like honey which was so bizarre, but after a while,  I got used to it! It was a peel-off mask so the fun comes with peeling it off our faces.
I feel like I need to invest in some proper face masks to help my skin more, but these worked great and really did clean my skin.

After all that relaxing,  it was time to relax some more with Netflix's, snacks and tea. My favourite snack has to be Twirls so I picked some up, again at Boots, along with some popcorn.  We watched Bad Neighbours all because of Zac Efron and Dave Franco, but also because it is a great film :)
We then watched 'The Fundamentals of Caring',  whilst sipping on our cup of teas. I have actually never heard of this film before but it was actually really heartwarming and such a feel good film. It starred Selena Gomez and Craig Roberts (who was in Tracy Beaker) and I would 100% recommend watching it on Netflix's.

Then, we were tucked into bed by 10, joke, we stayed up and just had major girl chats!! It was so nice to have a night in like this, it was fun but also cheap.
What are your must on a girls night?
Do you have any recommendations on Facemasks for normal to oily skin, let me know?
Also, does anyone know any good lighting that would help improve the quality of my pics at night time, I know they are not the best?

So after my Top Highlighter post was so popular I thought I would share my Top 5 Bronzers. I feel at this time of year it is great to give yourself a nice glow to your face, especially when you are as pale as me (lol), but also to keep holding onto to what we have left of Summer.  Enjoy!

Left- Right: Nars Laguna, NYX Matte Bronzer, Mac Jolly Good, Mac Natural Finish and Chanel Silk Bronzing Powder.

Nars Laguna Bronzer

Nars Laguna Bronzer has been my all time favourite since I bought it last year.  It is the perfect shade for my pale skin tone, it has a slight shimmer to give a subtle glow. However, I would say it is more matte, it is perfect to use to bronze  my face but also to contour my cheekbones. I love the size of this packaging, I just finished my mini duo so this will last me for a while. I am a big fan of Nars and this product did not let me down!!!

NYX Matte Bronzer

This NYX Matte bronzer, as you can see from the title is a 100% matte and is great for contouring as well bronzing. I bought this whilst on holiday in Malta,  it was the first NYX product I bought so I was nervous and excited. It has been a great addition to my everyday makeup routine. It gives a light contour whilst adding a tad more colour to my face. I do find it a little orangey if I use too much, although that might just be my skin tone.

Mac Jolly Good Mineralize Skinfinish

This Mac Mineralize Skinfinish bronzer has worked its way up to one of my favourite bronzers, my friend Keira gave it to me last year and I have just got round to using it now. I find this colour is perfect for my skin tone, it is described as a 'light cool beige' and is perfect to give my face a warmer look without being to overkill.  The pale pink/cream highlight is also very pretty and gives a subtle highlight to the face.  The duo has worked its way into my everyday makeup bag as well as one of my favourites.

Mac Medium Mineralize Skinfinish

Yes, I am that pale that I use Mac's Medium Mineralize Powder for my bronzer!
This is my all time fav, for when I want a simple look, it just gives the slightest colour to my face, whilst being natural. As you can tell it has been used a lot and fun fact, it was my first ever Mac product I bought along side Mac's Blushbaby. I use it for both contouring and bronzing my face and it was suggested to me by the lovely Lauren Gollan when Sarah and I attended one of her classes.
It is completely matte and for me, very buildable.

Chanel Silky Bronzing Powder - Sierra

This bronzer is actually my newest addition and that is Chanel Silky Bronzing Powder. I never really ventured into  Chanel for make-up, purely because the prices are so high, so when I saw this at a lower price in Malta, I thought it would be rude not too. It was my best purchase and I feel like a queen when I wear it!! The packaging is so pretty and you know something is good when it comes with its own pouch.
In terms of the product, I would say it is highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. It does seem dark and when it is on my skin it shows up quite considerably. It has a shimmer through it so if I use a small amount I can get away with applying it all over my face, however, I tend to stick with just contour. Overall, I had to work it into my Top 5!!

I really like writing and reading these types of posts so let me know if you want to see any more of my Top Products and Let me know what your favourite bronzers are?
Have a great week!

I was very inspired by Zoe's Book Club which she launched earlier this year. I do love to read but I feel like, in the social media world, it is always the last thing on my list! I am so guilty of choosing Netflix or Youtube over a good book, however, over this summer I have been pretty ill with various infections and have spent a lot of my time in my house or having long baths. I got through quite a few so I thought I would share!!

If you read my July Favourites then you would have read that I loved All The Bright Places - Jennifer Niven.  I heard so many great things about this but when Zoe added it to her book club I had to have it! Like I mention I honestly couldn't put this down, it is a love story with a very different and sad ending, following Theodore Finch and Violet Markey. It has some tough subject matters but with some great life lessons.
Another book from Zoe's Book Club that I loved is  Beautiful Broken Things - Sara Barnard. First of all,  I love the cover, the colours are so pretty, Zoe did a great job at changing it.
The book itself is great, it follows Caddy, Rosie, and their new friend Suzanne. The book turned out not exactly how I imagine it would go. The book, just like ATBP has very sad points as well as happy points. I think this book is great in realising everyone is going through their own struggles.
Sticking with the theme of Zoella, I finished Girl Online: On Tour- Zoe Sugg I started this at the start of the year but I just never really got into it. I know it is aimed at the younger audience and I am not sure if that is why. Nevertheless,  I picked up from where I started and ended up really enjoying the book. I loved that the theme is love but also all the way through Penny suffers from anxiety. I can relate to this character as I think many others can. I honestly can't wait for the next book to be released.
The next book,  I actually found on Amazon after browsing for new books and that is Four: A Divergent Collection- Veronica Roth. I mentioned in my April Favourites and my Two Weeks in Malta posts that I really enjoyed the Divergent series so I thought it was great that there was another book.  It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was what Four was up to after Allegiant finishes, however, it is about Four's life before and during the books! I really enjoyed the book and if you are a Divergent fan then I would 100% recommend.
I have already read this book back in High School but after I bought it in America I thought I would give it another read.  The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time- Mark Haddon follows a boy named Christopher who has autism. Not to give the plot away that much, but he finds a dog killed in his neighbours garden, in which he is determined to find out what happened. The book is funny but also very sad but gives you a good insight of an autism sufferer.
And lastly, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child- J.K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Throne I was such a big Harry Potter fan as a child so when I found out there was a new book it was very exciting,  I never knew, however, it was going to be in a script version. Nevertheless,  I have actually only started this book  a few days ago and I have already finished it. I thought the start went quite quick,  you are three years in and it is only page 30 something? The rest has been  super intense and packed with 'magical action', it  makes me want to read the whole book series again!!!

Can't believe summer is nearly over, although I honestly can't wait for Autumn.
Is there any books that you feel like I need to read?? Let me know?
Have you read any of my summer reads, what did you think?

I feel like you can never go wrong with a little Lush trip, I actually posted a Haul  this time last year, I might make it an annual thing, gives me an excuse to go in.... actually I don't need an excuse ;)
I got a few bits for my birthday, as well as popping into the Glasgow store a few weeks ago!

(Top to Bottom, Left to Right)

For my birthday I was actually given Intergalactic and Twilight in a set which was super exciting! I have had both before so I knew I would love them both.
Intergalactic smells a lot like spearmint  and the colours that are left in the bath are incredible! It leaves your skin feeling very soft and moisturised  due to the Cedarwood Oil. I would 100% buy it again.
The day of my birthday I used Twilight, the scent is very sweet and reminds me of candyfloss. It gives the bath a pretty glittery pink  colour and again makes your skin so soft. It contains Lavender so popping this in the bath is also extremely calming and relaxing. I actually repurchased this bath bomb when I bought the rest as it is one of my favourites.

I then picked up Big Blue,  I actually picked this up as it a very pretty colour. After speaking to the Lush worker, she explained one of the ingredients was Arame Seaweed. Apparently, it is meant to be very good to regulate the metabolism, so it went straight into my basket. It is also is meant to be good for your skin so it is a win-win. The smell is nice and fresh and I can't wait to use it .

ButterBall is the product I am most excited about, I wish I could remember  the girl's name that helped me but again she explained that this is great for dry or irritated skin. I have spots on my arm so hopefully, this will help. It also contains Ylang Ylang which helps with stress and anxiety so it would be interesting to try.

Last bath bomb I bought was Lava Lamp,  the product looks super eye-catching and I can just tell it will give the best colours in the bath. The scent isn't a scent I would reach for in Lush, as I am more of a sweet gal,  however, I love this. The Tangerine Oil gives it the best fresh  citrus scent, it is described as fruit pastilles on their website and I totally agree. It contains Cocoa Butter which is my favourite moisturising ingredient so I am VERY excited to give this a go.
After trying this bath bomb in the bath, it was super moisturising and smelt amazing! However, When I got out the bath my whole skin was patchy purple! I tried to wash it in the shower, just with water but it never worked!! I had to exfoliate my skin for at least 10 minutes until it all came off!
However, Lush were amazing about the whole situation and sent me a free bath bomb for my troubles!

Have you been into Lush lately, what have you been loving?? Let me know if there is any products I need in my life. Has anyone had the same problem!?
Hope you are having a great day!
