So I thought I would follow up from my Gluten free blog. I thought it would be helpful to give you my favourite Gluten-free Snacks, products and restaurants...

Favourite  snacks....

  •   Rice cakes w/ almond butter( This is probably my new favourite snack!)
  •   Dates(I would say chopped are my favourite!!)
  •   Almonds(Such a great snack and a great source of calcium)
  •   Carrot Stick (Chopped them up in the morning and snack through your the day!!)
  • ....Chocolate Raisins (this would be my favourite 'sweet' snack!! Most are GF but I would recommend checking that packaging!)

Top Products

I wouldn't say I was the biggest bread eater and since being gluten free I am less likely to actually to eat it but I would definitely say that my favourite bread is Genius bread!  Any other pieces of bread that I have tried are all very dry and lack flavour if you follow a GF diet you will know what I mean by 'Just wanting a normal piece of bread'.

My other favourite brand is Eat Natural, they do amazing protein bars ( My favourite being the Brazil, Sultana and hazelnuts bar). Their gluten free toasted muesli with buckwheat is also a must have....
Nakd bars are also my top, they count as one of your five a day and for me they taste like sweets!! My favourite ones are Cashew cookie and Rhubarb and Custard!

Like I said in my last post knowing what is naturally GF is always a bonus!! Don't always head to the 'Free From isle, research!!

Best food places-

Prezzo has to be one of my fav places, their website is very clear and they know a lot about being gluten free!!
There Ice Cream and Hazelnut  bombe desert is Gf and is to die for!! *inserts heart eyed emoji*
Prezzo Allergen advice is here

Pizza Hut has definitely the best pizza, having tried so many different places they have to be the number one!!! It's the one pizza that taste the closest to 'normal pizza'. Most toppings are also gluten free and I know that the BBQ dip is GF!!

Their desert is delicious too, after querying what was Gf I found that there Brownie sundae was.
Normally the only gluten free desert is ice cream/sorbet its is nice to have something different!! Pizza Hut Allergen Advice here
In terms of my favourite pasta I wouldn't say I have it a lot going out. I feel it is so easy to have at home that I tend to opt for pizza however a Restaurant in my area Gigis is my favourite pasta.

TIPS!!

My best tip is to be prepared, researching can never harm and going in with knowledge is always best. BUT always make sure, I would say always ask and make them aware of your intolerance. Either your server or a manger can be the best help.
There are times when there can be things cooked/fried with a gluten product which in turns makes it not suitable. Menus change all the time as well so always check!!  Better be safe than sorry!! :)

Let me know in the comments what your favourite Gluten Free top picks are?

Hey m'lovelys, Hope you are all having a great day.

For me Make-up Brushes are one of the most essential things to make or break your make-up look... I feel that you need the right brushes to create the perfect face... so here are my Top 5 brushes...

The first brush is the Sephora 57 Pro Airbrush Conceal brush.. I purchased this in Sephora whilst on holiday in Milan with my family and it is a brilliant brush!!
I use it with my concealer to cover up my problems areas and I feel it makes these area look smooth and flawless.
The brush is super soft and very easy to use!! It is very worth the money  and I would certainly recommend!!

The second brush is Real Techniques Bold Metallic Oval Shadow brush...
This brush is meant for your eyes and it is a very good Eye brush however I use it as a concealer brush!! I feel that this brush is the right shape and well as having the right fluffiness for a perfect concealer brush. I use this brush more for highlight rather than my problem areas. But both this and my Sephora Brush is a perfect match.
This is my most recent purchase, aswell as it being an amazing brush, the Bold Metals collection is beautiful..

The third brush on my list is Sephora 73 Crease brush...
Again I purchased this whilst in Milan! I would definitely say it was a dupe for MAC 217, I had been looking for a blending/fluffy brush for a long time and heard amazing reviews about MAC 217... I was on my way to the MAC counter as I seen this brush...
It is a perfect shape for blending and it holds a lot of product! It creates the perfect look without shedding! This brush is very affordable and a must have in your make-up collection.

Number four is Real Techniques Expert Face Brush....
This has to be my all time favourite foundation brush! Having went through a phase of using my fingers (I know, disgusting) I found Real Techniques brushes, thanks to my sister. I firstly swore by Real Techniques buffing Brush, I loved it and it made my make-up apply really nice But then I purchased the Expert Face brush for my friends Christmas, I had forgot my brushes one day after staying over and she was really kind in letting my borrow her brush.. I was in love... The foundation went on so smoothly and it sat perfectly!!
I automatically put it on my Christmas list last year and was super lucky to have received it!!! The brush is super soft yet it gives a very good coverage and like I said it makes my face look smooth and flawless.

The last brush and right now my favourite is Real Techniques Cheek Brush...
Like all Real Techniques brushes it is super soft and very good value. This came in a set name Nics Picks, and I believe it was a set exclusive.
I use this firstly as a bronzer brush, the dense bristles means I can build colour and create perfect        contour. I then use it for my blush, again the soft dense brush means I can build colour.
It is very easy to use and gives a lovely effect!! I would highly recommend if you can get your hands on it!!

What is your top brushes? Leave in the comments any recommendations?!

Midweek lifestyle blog...
So this blog post is going to be a slightly different, I have been Gluten Free for over two years now and I thought I would share my experience, and why I think it's not a fad diet.

WHAT IS GLUTEN?
'Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat, rye, barley, and triticale. Gluten helps foods maintain their shape, acting as a glue that holds food together.'-Taken from http://celiac.org/

How I became Gluten Free...
Back to the end of 2011, I was getting really bad stomach pains, I would feel really full and I was often very bloated. I wasn't sure what it was or whether it was anything serious so I played it off and never told anyone, over the next few weeks it got worse, it was not nice feeling bloated all the time. I told my mom and eventually I went to the doctors.

Long story short I had numerous blood tests done and as well as keeping a food diary, everything came back negative which was frustrating, over time my symptoms got worse. I ended up vomiting on different occasions. I was also given different medicine, but to be honest, nothing was working.

The doctors then told me that with all my symptoms and tests results that I more than likely had IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), it made me feel better than I had a diagnosis and was the handed lots of leaflets about which food I could and could not eat.

Although I had a diagnosis it still never made me feel better, I was still getting bloated stomach and generally feeling tired all the time. It also made me lose my appetite, bloating and feeling sick really turns you off food, which leads to me losing weight....

About November 2012 my mum saw an ad on Facebook, 'Symptoms of IBS try a Gluten free diet'. We thought we could only try, that day we cut all the Gluten products out my diet and entered the supermarket to look at the free from range.

Much to my delight after a day and a half off being Gluten free I went to my bed feeling great, no bloating, no feeling sick... From then on I have been Gluten Free.

TOP TIPS

Having been Gluten free for over two years now I have picked up some tips about how to live Gluten Free....
ALWAYS CHECK THE LABEL; Even if you are positive a product is gluten free, there is no harm in checking. Very occasionally the product itself does not contain it but in fact, has been made in a factory that contains gluten.
If the packaging does not say anything and you are still unsure CHECK ONLINE, you can go to the products website or you can Check Coeliac Uk which is very helpful.
FORUMS; I think forums are very useful and can put your mind at rest. Whether you have just started a Gluten Free lifestyle or years into it, talking about it will always help. Sharing experiences with others in the same boat can be very informative.

IS IT HEALTHY?

As I have said I have been on a gluten-free lifestyle for such a long time, I get asked a lot of questions about what I can eat and what I can't. But the main comment people say is 'You must be so healthy', I have strong opinions on why I feel that a gluten free diet can be just as unhealthy as a 'normal' diet.
Firstly for a Gluten free diet to be healthy the person must eat right, if you are Gluten free you will know that a majority of 'Free From' products in the store are cakes, sweets, and chocolate. So I feel that on that side it is not, overeating on these products would be as unhealthy as eating gluten products. You have to be able to know what is naturally Gluten free to be able to be healthy.
On the other hand, I find it healthy as you generally cannot eat anything when going out you need to be very wary about what you can and can't eat as it is a lot simpler to just say no...

DO I MISS IT?

The thing I miss the most is the simplicity, going somewhere and not having to worry whether you can eat anything, not having to make a fuss is always hard.Foods that I do miss are normal pieces of bread, normal rolls- the best GF rolls I have ever had where from a Milan restaurants. On the most hand, I don't miss it, like I have mention I have been Gluten free for over two years and I guess it is just my life now...

What is your thought on being Gluten Free? Do you want to be to post more abut being Gluten Free?

I don't know what I am more excited about, the products or being able to write this post!!! Okay, maybe the products... As you would have guessed from the title I purchased the MAC Cinderella collection.

Disney is one of my favourite things and now so is make-up so put them both together you get a winning combo... I have to say the whole collection was super pretty and if I could, I would have bought everything. But I limited myself and really got the things that I need.

The first product I bought was the Studio Eye Gloss - Lightly Taupe.

At the moment I am getting into experimenting with my eye makeup so I thought this would be perfect for my collection. I have never tried an eye gloss before so I was very intrigued. It is scary opening and realizing that it is a gloss form but it does, however, sits very nice on your eyelid.

I love how the colour is very subtle and could be used on its own as an everyday lid but also could be layered on top for a more 'going out' look. I particularly love that if caught in the right light it does give a beautiful shimmer.

The second product Cinderella Glitter - Reflects Pearl.

I was super excited about this as I have been looking for a glitter that I could use under my brow and as a highlight, I think in the rush to actually pick what I wanted from the collection I never realized that this product was not actually safe for the eye but for the face body and hair...

Aside from that, I am absolutely  in love with it, it is super sparkly and with the right base, it could, in fact, go on my eyes. I am really excited to use this product.

The last product I picked up a Cinderella Beauty Powder in Mystery Princess.

This has to my favourite out of them all and it was the one I did needed the most. I have been looking for a highlighter for a long time and this really caught my eye.

The colour is very subtle and is described as a "pink beige with silver shimmer.". Like I said I use this as a highlight, I think it gives a light shimmer to your face.  I am very happy that this is now part of my collection.

Overall. I loved the products. I also think that the packaging in gorgeous and represents Cinderella very well. I would highly recommend all these products, Big shout out to my friend Keira for ordering these for me!!

Let me know in the comments if you purchased any of MAC Cinderella Collection?

So my friend Keira did this tag I while ago but I thought I would give it ago, this is the Make-Up Addict Tag...
  1. Which product do you keep still buying more of despite having plenty in your collection? Nail polish, this isn't partially make-up but I have an obsession!! I have too many, some the same colour but different brands but I just can't help myself.....
  2. What’s the one product you couldn’t live without?     Bronzer, no matter if I am wearing a full face of makeup or a minimal face I always feel that I need bronzer. I love how much it shapes your face and gives you a glow.
  3. Favourite make-up brand?  MAC, as I have became more obsessed about make-up I will fall on MAC, I think their brand is very high quality! My two favourites products would have to be Natural Skin finish powder and Blush Baby blush. Although I am loving Soap and Glory at the moment, their archery eyebrow pencil and eye shadow are my favourites!
  4. How big is your make-up collection? I would say I would have quite a small makeup collection compared to others, It is however growing..
  5. And how do you like to store it? I have  a makeup table in my room which has one full drawer plus I purchased a clear holder of Amazon which I store my every day/popular makeup..
  6. How many items of make-up have you got in your handbag at the moment? Since I have been working  I don't carry a lot of makeup but my average makeup bag consists of a Mini sample of Clique Redness Solutions Makeup, Benefit bad girl lash mini, 3 collection 2000 concealer haha, Rimmel Powder, and MUA bronzer.
  7. If you could raid another blogger’s stash, who would it be? I would have to say Zoe for one reason, her Zoeva brush collection. The rose gold brushes are beautiful and Zoe seems to have quite a lot...
    Photo from Zoella.co.uk
  8. How long does your usual make-up routine take and how many products do you use? Depending on the day and where I am going it can take me 15 mins- an hour and a half! Normally if i am going out then I like to take my time and pretend I'm some sort of youtubers ahahah
  9.  Have you ever bought make-up knowing you wouldn’t use it?
At the moment I'm in between whether I can pull of Miley Cyrus Viva Glam Lipstick, it's quite bright and I'm not sure if I will suit it but I can give it a go..
  10. Tag a few other make-up addicts to do the tag!
    Who ever reads this!!

Who could believe February is over, I swear  everyone says this, but Christmas was only yesterday... But I decide that since I've starting blogging more that I would do the February Favourite blog:

MAKE UP FAVS

MaxFactor foundation; this was my favourite back in 2013 but for some reason I completely forgot about it and erased it from my make-up collection.

I'm so glad I finally re-purchased it! It is so light weight yet it gives plenty of coverage!! It also gives a really nice finish and I am very happy about it.

Miley Cyrus Viva Glam Lipglass by MAC, Having been a massive Miley fan I thought it would be right to buy her Viva Glam. I really love the lipglass it is super sparkly and it stays for a long time!

Obviously I have to mention my Smashbox  Primer Kit, as I said in my previous post my favourite is the under eye hydration primer...

BEAUTY FAVS

My beauty favourite is going to be Zoellas Soak Opera, I used it both as a shower gel and a bubble bath and absolutely love it! I love the smell as it is very subtle and I love the bottle, it just looks so pretty!

RANDOM FAVS

Gabrielle Aplin album English Rain, I have been a massive fan of Gabrielle for such a long time and the fact it is two years later and I'm still loving her album says a lot, it is such an easy listen!! I can't wait for her next album!!

Tanya Burr: Love Tanya has to featured, I feel if you are not a fan of Tanya the you would still love this book, there are so many tips and ideas and I really like the fact she has left spaces for us to write!!! It's a must have and would recommended to any beauty lover!!

Lastly I'm going to say Almonds, I go through stages of food obsession and right now it's chopped almonds!!

Let me know in the comments what your February Favs are?!
